RODEO, N.M. (Sept. 19, 2026) — Friends of Cave Creek Canyon invites the public to attend the Chiricahua-Peloncillo Heritage Days celebration, a weekend dedicated to exploring and celebrating the region’s natural and cultural heritage. The event will take place Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, at the Geronimo Event Center in Rodeo, New Mexico. Chiricahua-Peloncillo Heritage Days will feature professional presentations, an on-site buffet lunch, a crafts fair and market, and Sunday field day tours highlighting the unique history, culture, and landscapes of the Chiricahua-Peloncillo region. This celebration aims to bring together residents, visitors, historians, naturalists, artisans, and outdoor enthusiasts for a weekend of education, exploration, and community.
