BYLAS – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers traveling on U.S. Highway 70, west of Bylas, to plan for the following lane restrictions as work continues on a passing lane project:

  • Alternating east- and westbound travel on U.S. Highway 70 between mileposts 288 and 289 daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, Thursday, Jan. 15, and Friday, Jan. 16.
  • Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph in the work zone.

Motorists should allow extra travel time, use caution, be prepared to slow down, and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
