TUCSON — The U.S. Weather Service issued its spring outlook Thursday, and it will be warm season for Graham and Greenlee counties.

The outlook for April, May and June is above average temperatures for eastern Arizona and most of New Mexico.

In addition, drought conditions will likely persist for the entire state of Arizona and much of New Mexico.

“Much of the western U.S. is favored to receive below-average precipitation, with the greatest odds of below-average precipitation in the central and southern Rockies, including the Four Corners region,” the outlook reads.
