SAFFORD — Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center issued an update to the cybersecurity incursion that hit the hospital late last month.
In a prepared release, the hospital said it is “making great progress bringing systems back to operation and accessing information,” and “since Sept. 27, MGRMC has taken proactive measures to address the situation.”
The release states there has been “limited impact on the patient experience.” However, the release does not state if it has been determined if patient information has been compromised.
“If we determine that patient information was compromised, we will communicate directly with impacted patients. If you are or have been a patient of MGRMC, we recommend you monitor your account statements, stay vigilant about your personal data, and if you feel your information may be compromised, contact law enforcement,” the release states.
