Drivers should expect delays in the area

The Arizona Department of Transportation is conducting traffic signal cabinet work at the U.S. Highway 70 and U.S. Highway 191 intersection in Safford from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22. During this work, the traffic signals for all travel directions will be turned off and darkened. Law enforcement will direct traffic.
Drivers should expect delays, slow down when approaching the intersection, obey traffic control and law enforcement, and use caution around personnel.
