THATCHER — The Monster Cookies will be out for Eastern Arizona College’s next big announcement.
On its social media, the college announced it is holding a pep rally and press conference Thursday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m., to announce two new bachelor’s degree programs.
The rally will take place outside Guitteau Gymnasium, on the south Thatcher campus.
Currently, EAC offers two four-year degree programs — a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education.
In 2022, the state Legislature passed a bill allowing community colleges to offer four-year degrees. Eastern Arizona College was instrumental in moving the legislation forward.
