Moist sliced brisket is absolutely the shop stopper! So so good!!! To say the sauce was the cherry on top is an understatement. The smoked sausage had so much good flavor and just dripping with juice. The side of Mac was incredibly cheesy, like cheese and Mac would be a closer description (which is fantastic as a cheese lover!). The coleslaw tastes like what I would HOPE I'm describing to someone who asks what coleslaw is- the right amount of dressing to slaw ratio and just the right combo of flavors in it to complement the meat. Stopped here 2 hours away from home and would make a drive for no reason other than this place in the future.
Never again. Was given the wrong sausage links, got regular smoked instead of the jalapeno and cheese. Ordered half a rack of ribs and got literally 3 small, very dry individual ribs. I also ordered 1/2 pound of the moist brisket, it was the smallest half pound I have ever seen but I don't carry a scale around so I dont know....either way it was below average in flavor and for moist brisket it was super dry. The bark on it was like jerky. The potato salad has no mustard in it. Like it's mayo only. Kinda weird for me but it was the best part of all this. And the BBQ sauce is basically flavored vinegar. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.
BBQ joint right in the triangle (literally). A bit pricey to get a 2 meat plate and a slice of pecan pie but solid. The only 2 negatives that stuck out was the fatty brisket had a thick fat cap and the pie tasted like it sat in the fridge for a bit. That being said, I'm getting the sandwich next time cause for some reason their BBQ sauce speaks to me. Fyi it's a drive through so best find a parking space nearby to eat.
Best brisket in Arizona by far. The brisket nachos are loaded to the brim, the sandwiches are big and the sides are amazing. If your a turkey fan there turkey is so moist and tender the kids destroyed it. I recommend the brisket beans or the Mac.... and top it off with there special lemonade. I had the strawberry peach with cold foam and of course boba. Great service and good vibes. Good job Rafter G keep up the good work!!!
My family of 7 stopped by on our road trip back to our home state of Texas, and I am here to tell you, as a Texan, that was the best brisket I have ever had—sauce included. Additionally, the mother and daughter running the place are the sweetest duo. If we come back to Arizona we will make it a point to stop here again.
