The concept, named after Grandma Goucher’s son, Jerry, was based on the many popular coffeeshop style restaurants of the time. Simple, classic, American food served in a friendly, always open, environment was a winner then, and to this day, proves to be something that continues to resonate with both young and old alike.

We stopped while in town. This is a nostalgic diner with booths and counter seating. Service was friendly and helpful. It is a bit old. Windows need to be cleaned and a good once over would be nice. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese. It was good. The edge of the crust was a little soggy from where they steamed it. I also ordered the root beer float. It was decent. Lots of ice cream! It is a neat experience in an old fashioned diner.
Classic old school diner. The food was absolutely delicious, my sandwich was dry, but I think that was more of a miscommunication on my part. Ordered the Julius Caesar chicken sandwich which is supposed to come with Cesar dressing, but I also ordered ranch for my fries on the side and I think they thought I wanted ranch for the sandwich instead of what comes with it, but it was still delicious. I didn’t notice until I’d left about the dry part, because I got full on the fries and cheese sticks so the sandwich was taken to go. Our server did give great recommendations and the significant other said their world famous Reuben was in the top 10 he’s ever had in his entire life, so I took that to mean he loved it lol. He orders that pretty much anywhere it’s offered. He said the macaroni salad was okay.
The 50s atmosphere of 50's diner was fun and the images on the wall gave the small town feel. The food was good and portions, especially the pancakes , were generous. The server was knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend!
I have been picking up orders here for Door Dash Never have been here before until yesterday Ordered a to go order because we live in Willcox Large portions. And good food. Especially the rebeun sandwich. When I lived in Tucson I only found 2 places with Amazing rebens Jerry's has a great one The only downfall was I ordered the pot roast dinner for my wife and we ended up getting the meatloaf. Still good but not what we were expecting And that we took it to go and could not experience what I'd imagine was great service Judging by how full the parking lot seems to stay
I was greeted by a handsome man named Steven that helped us. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast. We drove to Safford from Apache Junction to eat, out for a drive. The trip to Jerry's was worth it. The food was great and the service was outstanding. I recommend this place! Ask for Steven for a great experience.
