Grateful for this clinic and staff. We came there after being told our Lucky girl needed life saving surgery. They attended to her right away, we all expected the worst. The doctor emerged right away after surgery with great news, it wasnt as bad as we all thought and we were able to bring our girl home that night. The prices were in our range, and they give options of aftercare which were so reasonable, how could you not chose them. We were given good instructions, and treated with respect. It was so comfortable that we are planning to make it our regular clinic from now on. Worth the drive to this charming town. I think they are a wonderful service. my experience at Desert Cross Veterinary Hospital was spectacular. I searched the surrounding area for a competent and caring vet and finally found a *gold mine* of wonderful and caring people. I live in Bowie Arizona and it's a 90 mile round trip and well worth it because from the moment I walked into the door, I was greeted by a very kind and friendly receptionist, who put me and my dog at ease. the doctor was outstanding and empathetic and caring and took great care of my dog, Charlie who needed dental work. every team member...going the extra mile and being so helpful and generous I felt confident that my dog was getting the best and most modern care available. We recently got a new puppy and was gonna take them in to get it’s shots. Well he tested positive for parvo. Debbie is a great veterinarian and Mrs Huff, but the lady who checks you in is completely rude and full of attitude. Someone like that should work in the back. Many times we’ve gone in or my other family members she’s been so rude. Grateful for Debbie but her front staff member who checks you in needs to be gone. We all know Debbie works hard and we love her but this woman is diabolical. This isn’t a one time issue, it’s a constant issue.
I'm so happy with the level of care, value, and customer service here. These docs don't mess around. They're knowledgeable AND confident, so they didn't need to give me a bunch of decisions for me to make.
Dr Chapman has done phenomenal work with our dogs! On one occasion we were unsure of what was plaguing our Catahoula, but Dr Chapman worked for many days and nights to stabilize and bring our ranch dog back to full health! On a separate occasion Molly had a run in with a pack of Coyotes that left her with a gaping hole on her right rib cage. Dr Chapman sewed her up twice (the second time was due to Molly reopening the wound herself). Today the scar is barely visible! Recently I was inquiring about a lumpectomy. Dr Chapman's office staff responded promptly to my email and remained in constant communication to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I received to most accurate estimate possible. We HIGHLY recommend this Veterinary Clinic! Whichever direction you are traveling in from, they are worth the drive!
