CLIFTON — Due to the warming temperatures, low humidity and strong winds that been covering the area of late, the Town of Clifton has instituted fire restrictions.
The restrictions apply in all town parks, and limit park users to propane grill fire only — no open wood or charcoal grilling will be allowed.
Also, the town has put a moratorium on open burn permits.
There is no timeline on when the restrictions will be lifted.
