SAFFORD, Ariz. — Three downtown Safford businesses will be recognized during the August 2026 Chamber Mixer on Thursday, Aug. 27.
The mixer will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. and will include ribbon-cutting ceremonies for Ginaveve’s Marketplace, Copper & Cotton Lifestyle Co. and Garrett’s Sweet Shop. The event is open to the public.
The evening will begin with a 5 p.m. ribbon cutting at Ginaveve’s Marketplace, 401 W. Main St. The business is now owned by Cade and Lacey Bryce and features two new signature product lines: Sift Happens, offering artisan sourdough bread, and Desert Drip, offering custom drinks.
Additional ribbon cuttings will recognize Copper & Cotton Lifestyle Co., 428 W. Main St., and Garrett’s Sweet Shop, 426 W. Main St.
Copper & Cotton Lifestyle Co., owned by Ron and Trisha Garrett and their business partners, offers locally made and hometown-branded products, T-shirts, clothing, home décor, toys, specialty foods and gifts.
Garrett’s Sweet Shop, also owned by the Garretts, serves Blue Bell Ice Cream, traditional and specialty mixed sodas, candy and other treats.
The mixer will provide the community with an opportunity to meet the business owners, visit the three establishments and connect with members of the community while recognizing continued business development in Downtown Safford.
