🌶️ SalsaFest Day 1 is in the books! 🌶️

What an incredible first night of the 20th Annual SalsaFest! Day 1 wrapped up with what appeared to be record-breaking attendance as our community packed the Safford City Hall lawn, Historic Main Street, and the Graham County Courthouse area for an evening of food, music, entertainment, and community.

Opening ceremonies began with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem, followed by remarks from Graham County Attorney Scott Bennett, Amanda Patterson with United Way, and a special message from Crystal Etris with NatureSweet. Matthew Vrvilo also read a special commendation from Governor Katie Hobbs’ Office recognizing this milestone celebration. City of Safford Vice Mayor Arnold Lopez then provided the official welcome on behalf of the City of Safford.

And we are just getting started!

🐕 Saturday’s action begins bright and early with the always-popular Chihuahua Races at 8:00 a.m., followed by the official kickoff of Day 2 at 10:00 a.m. The festivities continue throughout the day and conclude at 10:00 p.m.

While you are downtown, be sure to stroll the remainder of Historic Main Street and visit our local stores, restaurants, and businesses. There is plenty to see, eat, and enjoy throughout downtown Safford.
