Proposition 405 will appear on the ballot for City of Safford voters this November.

Proposition 405 asks voters whether to ratify the City of Safford 2026–2036 General Plan, which was approved by the Mayor and City Council in June 2026.

The General Plan serves as a long-range planning document that guides future growth, development, land use, infrastructure, and other community priorities over the next decade.

A YES vote ratifies the updated 2026–2036 General Plan.

A NO vote does not ratify the updated General Plan, and the current General Plan remains in place.
