SAFFORD, Ariz. — Valley TeleCom Group is expanding its high-speed internet access south of Safford, bringing a new Fixed Wireless Broadband solution to the communities of Artesia, Cactus Flat, Swift Trail, and surrounding areas. This expansion addresses the long-standing demand from residents for better internet options in these rural locations.
The new Fixed Wireless Internet service offers speeds up to 500 Mbps to homes and businesses that have historically faced limited broadband options. This reliable connectivity supports remote work, online learning, streaming entertainment, telehealth, and other everyday online activities.

Valley TeleCom’s new network utilizes advanced wireless broadband technology from Tarana Wireless, a next-generation platform designed to overcome many limitations traditionally affecting fixed wireless service. This technology can deliver high-speed internet even in areas with trees, terrain obstacles, and challenging rural environments, extending reliable broadband service to locations where fiber deployment may not yet be practical.
