🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – DISCOVERY PARK BLVD 🚧

The City of Safford Water Division will be trenching across Discovery Park Blvd to complete the water line installation for Mayor Jason Kouts Park on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

During this work, Discovery Park Blvd will be closed in both directions from 8th Ave east to the newest cemetery entrance.

🕕 Closure begins: 6:00 AM
🕒 Expected reopening: No later than 3:00 PM

Please plan to use an alternate route and allow extra travel time. If you are traveling near the work zone, use caution and obey all posted traffic signs and directions from crews.
