🇺🇸 America250 Traveling Museum Coming to Downtown Safford 🇺🇸

The City of Safford is pleased to welcome the Arizona America250 Traveling Museum to Downtown Safford as part of the statewide celebration marking the 250th Anniversary of the Founding of the United States of America.

The traveling exhibit, titled “Road to 250,” is touring communities across Arizona to help residents reflect on our nation’s history and engage with the story of American democracy.

When: Monday, March 16, 2026
Where: In front of Safford City Hall- 717 W. Main Street
🕙 Time: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This mobile exhibit highlights key moments in American and Arizona history.

As part of the event, Layton House Bed & Breakfast and Freedom Floor Covering Plus have partnered to create a community art installation where residents are invited to paint red, white, and blue tiles, contributing to a collaborative display celebrating our nation’s upcoming milestone.

Community members are encouraged to stop by throughout the day to explore the exhibit, learn more about the upcoming America250 commemoration, and celebrate the shared story of the United States.
