🚧 FOG SEALING NOTICE – DOWNTOWN PARKING LOTS 🚧

Our City of Safford Street Department continues its seasonal fog sealing work to extend the life of our roads and parking surfaces.

🛣️ Fog sealing is a protective treatment that helps preserve asphalt by sealing minor cracks and restoring surface flexibility—helping us maintain safer, longer-lasting roads throughout our community.

📅 Upcoming Downtown Parking Lot Closures for Fog Sealing:

Wednesday, April 30 – Parking Lot (west of the Motor Vehicle Division)

Thursday, May 1 – Parking Lot (north of the Motor Vehicle Division)

Monday, May 5 – Parking Lot (corner of 6th Avenue & Main Street)

🚫 Please do not park in these lots on the specified dates. Crews will begin fog sealing in the morning, and the lots will reopen within a few hours once the surface is safe to drive on. City staff will remove barricades when it’s clear to return.
