PHOENIX — Arizona Game and Fish are taking to the air this month.
The state agency is using aircraft to conduct its annual aerial winter wildlife survey of deer and javelin throughout January.
The survey is used to determine the number of hunt permits issued each year.
Game and Fish also noted that hunters should be aware that some flights may overlap with ongoing hunts.
