Betty Jo Kouts, a lifelong resident of Safford, passed into rest Wednesday evening, December 20, 2023, at the Haven of Safford, from causes incident to age. Betty Jo was 100.
Betty Jo is survived by: her three sons, Clifford, Randy and Dennis Kouts; and two daughters, Nylene Korn and Tami Reynolds; Preceding her in death were: her husband, Wes, who passed in April of 2018; her parents, Clarence and Susie Clifford; a son, Ronnie Kouts; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Betty Jo will be conducted Friday afternoon, December 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley” by President Brian Sabin of the Safford Kimball Fourth Branch. Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon, December 29, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
