The day is off to a great start across the Gila Valley! The American flags proudly displayed along U.S. Highway 70 have our community looking especially patriotic as we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. This morning’s Wake-Up Call, People’s Parade, and Pancake Breakfast in the Town of Pima were a fantastic way to kick off the festivities, and it was great to see our local elected officials joined by Congressman Juan Ciscomani greeting the crowd.

The City of Safford is looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Main Street Parade, beginning at 10:00 a.m. We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate this historic milestone with friends, family, and neighbors.
