Today, our local law enforcement agencies will come together for a great cause as they participate in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The event begins at 10:00 AM at Firth Park, where officers will carry the Flame of Hope westbound through our community along Highway 70, concluding at Ray Lane.

This annual tradition is more than just a run. It is a powerful show of support for the athletes of Special Olympics, celebrating courage, inclusion and spirit of the movement!

As you travel through the area this morning, please keep an eye out for our law enforcement personnel and participants along the route. We encourage everyone to show their support with a wave or a cheer as they pass by.
