Ponderosa Air Ambulance Merry Main Street kicks off this evening with the Freeport McMoRan Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Kempton Chevrolet stage. 🌲🎤 Events begin at 5:30 pm, and preparations for this annual tradition will take place throughout the day.

The City of Safford encourages you to visit Historic Main Street and shop our amazing small businesses today and throughout the holiday season. 🛍️ While enjoying the festivities this evening, stop by our local restaurants, shops, and vendors to stay energized with a great purchase, meal, or warm drink. 🍽️☕️

🚧 Road Closure Information
To safely prepare the event area, please note the following closures:

• 7:00 am: The section of Historic Main Street in front of City Hall will close.

• 1:00 pm: Main Street from Copper and Cotton Lifestyle Co. to Ginaveve’s will close.

• 2:00 pm: Nana’s Kitchen to El Charro will close.

➡️ Travel on the avenues throughout the downtown area will remain open during the day to support traffic flow and allow access to Main Street until closer to the final event kick off.

These staggered closures help maintain access to your favorite shops while allowing crews time to prepare for tonight’s Merry Main Street festivities. 🎁✨
