City of Safford Announces 20th Avenue Utilities and Streets Work

Beginning December 1, 2025, the City of Safford Water Division will begin construction work in the area of 20th Avenue and 16th Street. This phase of construction will run through December 4, with additional traffic restrictions to follow when road repair is completed.

During this time, access to the southern entrance of the hospital facilities will be temporarily restricted. This work supports utility upgrades tied to the new pharmacy facility and is an important step in supporting development and future growth in our system.
