Heads up I-10 drivers near Vail 🚧

Starting this week, I-10 between State Routes 83 & 90 (mileposts 292-293) will be reduced to one lane in either direction for a rehabilitation project.

Four railroad bridges are being repaved, as is the highway to the east and west. New guardrails and raised pavement markers will also be installed.

Motorists should also be prepared for the following during this project:

🚧 The left lanes will be closed 24/7 until this project wraps up in late spring 2026.
🚧 Crews will be on scene between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.
🚧 A 16-foot vehicle width restriction is in in place.
🚧The speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH.
🚧 Expect possible delays.
