* US 60 SCHEDULED CLOSURE – SUPERIOR *

US 60 will be closed from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. between Superior and Miami (mileposts 227-243) Tuesday, Oct. 28, Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 30. This is for the Queen Creek/Waterfall Canyon Bridges replacement project.

** NOTE ** US 60 west of Miami, near milepost 241, will continue to have alternating lane restrictions for east- and westbound travel for flood-damage repairs. Flaggers and a pilot car will assist drivers through the work zone.

DETOURS
▪️ Eastbound: Use southbound State Route 177 through Winkelman to northbound SR 77.
▪️Westbound: Use southbound SR 77 through Winkelman to northbound SR 177.

Due to the roughly 75-mile length of this detour, drivers may want to consider planning travel before 9 a.m. and after 2 p.m. The detour is estimated to add an additional hour for trips between Superior and Miami.
