A pavement rehabilitation project starts Monday, Oct. 6 on US 70 in Safford and Thatcher.

Expect the following Monday through Thursday,:
🚘 From 6 a.m.-5 p.m. eastbound curb lane restrictions between mileposts 335-340.
🚘 Rolling lane restrictions through the project area.
🚘 A 35 mph speed limit in the work zone.

The project will remove the old asphalt (and replace it with new) as well as improve pedestrian facilities and fog seal the pavement.
