The City of Safford is proud to congratulate Andrew Bell on being recognized as Arizona’s 2025 Code Enforcement Officer of the Year! 🏆

This award honors an ambassador of the code enforcement profession, someone who goes above and beyond in supporting their co-workers, provides guidance to less experienced officers, shows a true passion for their community, and embraces the importance of life-long learning. Andrew has embodied each of these qualities during his service as our Neighborhood Officer. When asked about his accomplishment, Bell praised his team for their support and stated, “I couldn’t have done it without the support and knowledge of my whole department.”

We are also excited to announce that Andrew will now continue serving our community as a Building Inspector for the City of Safford. His dedication, knowledge, and commitment to public service make him a tremendous asset in this new role.
