City of Safford Now Accepting FY2026 Donation Requests from Local Nonprofits

The City of Safford is now accepting applications from local charitable and nonprofit organizations for donation funding as part of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget cycle.
This annual program is designed to support organizations that provide meaningful services and programs benefiting Safford residents. Up to $20,000 per organization may be awarded.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must:
• Provide services or programs within the Safford city limits
• Be chartered or incorporated with the Arizona Corporation Commission
• Be recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS

📑 Required Documentation
Applications must include:
• Completed FY2026 City of Safford Donation Request Form
• Transmittal letter (mission, community benefit, and funding impact)
• IRS 501(c) determination letter
• Most recent financial report
• Current W-9 form
• List of board members and officers

🗓️ Deadline to Apply: September 2, 2025
