🚨 Honoring Peace Officers – Flags at Half-Staff May 15 🚨

In recognition of National Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week, Governor Katie Hobbs has ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff on Wednesday, May 15, to honor the memory of law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Governor Hobbs shared the following message:

“Together, we remember the peace officers in Arizona and across the country who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and service will not be forgotten. Let’s honor them by upholding the ideals they defended.”

The City of Safford joins in this statewide tribute and encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations in our community to participate in honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service and protection of others.

We remain grateful for the ongoing dedication of law enforcement officers in our city, county, and across Arizona.
